    * Cieding Township is a rustic coastal town and most villagers are fishermen. Abundant production brings the village substantial wealth. It is one of the key areas of the deep-sea in Taiwan.
    The seahorse totem is the township seal designed and adopted in recent years. This totem symbolizes everything extending from the ocean.
    * Meaning of the Township Seal *
    * Blue represents layers of waves.
    * The Yellow circle symbolizes the "rudder" as well as "fullness"; it is blessing to villagers, wishing them return with full load.
    * The small green circles represents the simple kindness of the folks in the township and the hope for solidarity in the development of Cieding Township.
