    * Fude Village *
    Fude Village is located at the north side of the township, bordering Tainan City by Erceng Creek and Wanfu Village at the south side. The east side lies the First Cemetery and the west side ends at the old Baishalun fishing wharf. The Fude Temple, enshrining the God of Earth, has been the belief central of the residents. For many years, the God of Earth guards the safety of fishermen and gives the blessing of abundance.
    * Wanfu Village *

    Wanfu Village was established in 1940. This village borders Fude Village at the north and Baiyun Village at the south. The municipality extends to Tianjhi Bridge at the east, neighboring Hunei Township. The vicinity is guarded by the Baishalun Police Station and serviced by Wanfu Temple, Baishalun Market, and the First Cemetery of Cieding Township.

    * Baiyun Village *

    Baiyun Village was the site of the originally Baishalun Tribe. The village borders Wanfu Village at the north and links to Tainan City by Nanding Bridge over the Ercengsing Creek. At the east, the village links to Hunei Township through the Yougong Road via the Taiye area and, in the south, the village neighbors Jiachi Village. Baiyun Village accesses other villages in the township and Singda Port via Cieding Road and Binhai Road. The west of the village goes out to the Taiwan Strait, which can be accessed through the Binhai Road. It is a typical fishing village with a convenient transportation network.

    * Jiachi Village *

    Jiachi Village is first village of upper Cieding, bordering Hunei Township at the east, Baishalun Village at the north, Jiaan Village at the south, and the Taiwan Strait at the west. The west side of the village is coming to a saturation; therefore, new communities are being developed towards the east side of the township.

    Jiaan Village

    *

    This village was established in 1940. It is located in the upper Cieding Tribes, facing Taiwan Strait at the west and bordering Jiale and Jiachi Villagse at the south and north respectively. The east side is characterized by fish ponds. However, the population is gradually shifting eastward; therefore, new communities have been developed. This trend is reshaping the village into a rectangular terrain stretching the long-side from east to west and the narrow side from north to south.

    Jiale Village

    The municipality was established right after the Republic Government took over Taiwan. The village borders Taiwan Strait at the west, Hunei Village at the east, Jiaan Village at the north, and Jiatai and Hesie Villages at the South. It falls right in the center of the six villages of the upper Cieding settlement, making it easily accessible from all directions.

    Jiatai Village

    Jiatai Village is located in the center of Cieding Township. It is partitioned from the new communities of Jiale Village at the east by the Siangsa Canal and faces the Taiwan Strait at the West across the Binhai Road. Jiale Village neighbor Jiatai Village at the north Jiafu Village at the South. Since the village is right in the center of Cieding Township and the Chifu Temple Market of the upper Cieding area is located at the east of the village, thousands of people pass by the area, making it the center of commerce in Cieding Township.

    Jiafu Village

    *

    The village is part of the upper Cieding tribe, known as "gangkou zai (small port)" during the Japanese colonial Period because the Gangkou Road in the area leads to the seashore. It was named Jiafu Village after World War II.

    It is located in the central region of the Township or the eight village, counting either from the north or the south. It neighbors Jiatai Village at the north, Cieding Village at the south, Hesie Village at the east, and Taiwan Strait at the west.

    Hesie Village

    *

    The village is located in the middle, bordering Baoding Village at both the east and south, Jiafu and Jiatai villages at the west by a large drain, and Jiale village at the north. There is a Presbyterian church and the 19 constellations Temple in the vicinity.

    Chieting Village

    *

    This village is located in the central region of Cieding Township, neighboring Baoding Village at the east by a large drain and south by the Jinruan Road. It goes out to the Taiwan Strait and linked to the north and south of other vicinity of Kaohsiung County and Tainan City through the Binhai Road. The north side of the Village neighbors Jiafu Village divided by Gangkou Road. Cieding Road runs through the village in the north-south direction, giving this village easy access. Cieding Village is a typical fishing village and most of the villagers are fishermen. The people respect the gods; therefore, altars in all scales can be found throughout the village. Especially, the Southern Jinruan Temple is well-known throughout the nation. Believers tread the doors of the temple nonstop.

    Baoding Village

    This village is one of five villages of the Lower Cieding are. The village neighbors Cieding Village at the north, Dading Village at the south, Taiwan Strait at the west, and Hunei Township at the east. It is located in the heart of the township geographically and has become the focus of future development. In recent years, increase in population, development of the road system, and upgraded street planning has made this village the largest in the township.

    Dading Village

    This village is located in the center region of the lower Cieding area, adjacent to Neihu Township at the east, Baoding village at the north, Guangding Village at the south, and Taiwan Strait at the west. Residents of this sea village are mostly fishermen leading a simple life.

    Guangding Village

    *

    This village is a typical fishing village located at the south side of the lower Cieding area. This village neighbors Hunei Township at the east over the fish ponds, Dading Village at the north, Taiwan Strait at the west, and Jiding at the south. This village has not been properly re-planned. The narrow roads make life quite inconvenient; therefore, the residents have gradually moved out of the village.

    Jiding Village

    It is a fishing village located in the south side of the lower Jaiding area. This village borders Hunei and Lujhu Townships at the east over fish ponds and salt yards and neighbors Guangding Village to the north, Taiwan Strait at the west, and Cilou Village at the south.

    Chenggong Elementary School, the township's health and medical center, and Tainan and Kaohsiung Bus Terminals are located in the village; therefore, the population in the lower Cieding area are gradually migrating to the village.

    Cilou Village

    *

    Cilou Village the southernmost village of Cieding Township. It is a typical fishing village, old name Wenliao, established in 1940. The majority of the residents are in the fishery industry. Initially, this village only had two hundred households, but the society develops, and the population has had high growth.
